What you catch and when
June to September mackerel, scad and sea bass close in, and on the longer trips dorado and bonito. In winter it is cuttlefish and squid at dusk — the trip the residents ask for most. The skipper picks the spot on the day, based on wind and current.
How the trip runs
Departure is between 07:00 and 08:00, when the fish are feeding. The boat has shade, a cool box and a toilet. If nobody in the group has fished before, the skipper rigs the tackle and shows you how.
