Jet skis run out of Torrevieja along the open water south of the marina. You do not need a licence: the sessions go out as a guided circuit with an instructor leading, which is what the regulations allow. Briefing, lifejackets and fuel are all included.
Prices
| Session | Price per ski |
|---|---|
| 30 minutes | 85 € |
| 1 hour | 150 € |
Prices and conditions are indicative and subject to confirmation. We confirm them in writing when you book. Last reviewed: September 2026.
Price is per machine, not per person, and two can ride one ski. For couples and pairs of friends that halves it, which is worth knowing before you book two.
How it works
You get a short briefing on dry land, then go out in a group behind the instructor. There is open water where you can push it, and the route stays clear of swimming areas. Total time on site is about an hour for a thirty-minute session, once kit and briefing are counted.
Rules and requirements
- Minimum age to drive is 18 with photo ID
- Passengers from about 6 years, at the instructor’s discretion
- No alcohol beforehand — you will be turned away
- A deposit is usually held against damage and returned after
What to bring
Swimwear, a towel and sun cream you have already applied. Sunglasses with a strap or leave them behind — they end up in the sea otherwise. Phones and keys go in a locker on shore.
Season and weather
May to October is the main season, with some availability outside it. Sessions are cancelled in strong easterlies and rescheduled or refunded. Morning slots are usually the calmer water.
Common questions
Really no licence?
Correct, as long as you go out on the guided circuit with an instructor. Hiring a ski to take out alone is a different matter and does require one.
Can two of us share?
Yes, and it is the sensible way to do it — the price is per ski.
Is it frightening?
Not particularly. You set your own speed and the instructor stays with the group. If you have never done it, thirty minutes is plenty.
What else is nearby?
Most people pair it with a boat trip or the pink lagoon later the same day.
